Emergencies & crisis support

This website and contact form are not monitored for emergencies.

In an emergency, call 911. If you're in crisis or thinking about suicide, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

Educational purposes only

The information on this website is for general educational purposes and is not medical or mental-health advice. Visiting this site or sending a message does not create a therapist–client relationship; our work together begins only after we meet and complete intake.

No Surprises Act

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your care will cost.

Health care providers must give clients who don't have insurance, or who aren't using insurance, an estimate of expected charges for services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services, including psychotherapy. You can ask for one before you schedule.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate in a safe place.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.

Every self-pay client also receives a written, personalized Good Faith Estimate before services begin.
